Ning Feng is honoured to be made a Fellow of London’s Royal Academy of Music (FRAM) in 2014, one of a select number of classical artists to have been invited to accept this award.
Limited to 300 former Academy students, the fellowship is awarded to, ‘those musicians who have distinguished themselves within the profession.’ The current list of 300 includes conductors Sir Simon Rattle and Edward Gardner; composers Sir Harrison Birtwistle and Michael Nyman; and singers Dame Felicity Lott and Iestyn Davies.
Feng was the first student ever to be awarded 100% for his final recital at the Royal Academy where he studied under the tutelage of Professor Hu Kun, graduating in 2003.
