Feng makes debut with the National Symphony Orchestra at Wolf Trap

Feng travels to the United States this month to make his debut with the National Symphony Orchestra at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, performing Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with conductor Gianandrea Noseda on 26 July. The concert also marks Feng’s debut at Wolf Trap and takes place at the park’s Filene Center, a beautiful outdoor amphitheatre designed to be in harmony with its national park setting. Wolf Trap works closely with the US National Parks Service to provide performing arts experiences for the enrichment, education, and enjoyment of diverse audiences from the Washington DC area, with over 100 performances every summer across a range of genres.

Feng then heads to Pyeongchang in South Korea, home of the 2018 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, for two performances in August. On 6 August, Feng performs Waxman’s Carmen Fantasy with pianist Yeol Eum Son and Kodály’s Duo for Violin and Cello with Natalie Clein. The following day he performs Reinhold Glière’s String Octet alongside Leonard Elschenbroich and a host of other performers.
