Feng is Artist in Residence at Kissinger Sommer Festival in southern Germany
In June and July, Feng performs three concerts – a recital, concerto and a chamber appearance – at the Kissinger Sommer Festival in Bad Kissingen, where he is Artist in Residence in 2014.
On 15 June Feng will appear in recital with regular duo partner Igor Levit. Together they perform Mozart Violin Sonata No.27, Shostakovich Violin Sonata, Op.134, and Franck Violin Sonata in A major.
Feng will return for a concerto appearance on 6 July, performing Paganini Violin Concerto No.1 with Orchestre National de Marseille and Lawrence Foster.
Finally, he will perform in a chamber concert alongside Konstantin Shamray and Kristof Barati, with works by Handel, Bartók, Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.
The Kissinger Sommer is a classical music festival held every year in the summer in the city of Bad Kissingen, Southern Germany. The festival was founded in 1986 and is one of the most popular classical music festivals in Germany.
